One of the things we have learned from our work with agencies across the State of Washington is that it is hard to find materials that encourage fatherhood involvement. So, when we come across good material, we plan to pass it on to you.
We think you may find such a toolkit produced by the Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Program (WIC) in California particularly helpful. They have an uphill challenge in that their title seems to exclude fathers, despite the fact that their programs are open to fathers as well as mothers. To meet this challenge head on, they have reviewed their fatherhood involvement efforts of early childhood programs.
